Founders

Gisele Pelosi

Gisele is the co-founder of Umucyo Foundation Rwanda and Umucyo Foundation UK . She is a focused professional working in the not-for-profit sector with strengths in brand building, business development, and customer care. A proactive leader who works collaboratively and is a good communicator. She has experience in co-production, where everybody works together on an equal basis to create a service that meets the client’s needs. Every journey is different; everyone deserves to be heard and listened to. She currently works for Hestia, a charity that provides support to adults and children in crisis.

She holds a degree in business studies and is trained in adult safeguarding, child protection awareness, and trauma-informed practise. An active member of the Rwandese community in London, she runs regular networking events to bring community members together. She is happily married with two children. In her spare time, she likes keeping fit, reading, cooking, taking long walks, travelling, and listening to music .

Pascaline Nzigamasabo

Pascaline is the co-founder of the Umucyo Foundation Rwanda and the Umucyo Foundation UK. She has over 10 years’ experience in health and social care. She is an active member of the community and has been involved in many projects, ranging from fundraising to supporting community-based initiatives and raising awareness of the challenges that the community faces. She is a mother, and in her spare time, she likes travelling, music, and lending help to anyone who needs it.
